- The Welsh Coast Pioneer and Review for North Cambria 20/03/1903: Mr Thos. Marriott said that he and others had visited the fire station the other day, and found the fire engine in a disgraceful state, and not fit to turn out. The windows of the building were broken. The engine was covered with dust, and the dress was in a dreadful state. [cannot confirm news item refers to this location]

- Carnarvon and Denbigh Herald and North and South Wales Independent 21/10/1904: It was decided to apply for a loan of £100 odd to pay for the fire brigade station purchased at a recent sale [which would indicate the 1903 article refers to an older station. This article still not confirmed as referring to this (School Bank Terrace) location] |
